Kimberly Maggio brings to Hirsch Law over ten years of experience handling sensitive matters in Massachusetts Trial and Appellate Courts.
Kim started her career as a law clerk for the Massachusetts Superior Court where she assisted justices in all phases of litigation. She went on to spend more than twelve years at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office where she handled dozens of trials and evidentiary hearings and nearly 100 appellate matters. While there, she received the Ruth Abrams Outstanding Attorney Award—given to an appellate attorney who has demonstrated outstanding legal acumen, writing skills, and oral advocacy.
Kim is the attorney of record on several published cases in the Appeals Court and Supreme Judicial Court and was co-author of the MCLE, Superior Court Criminal Practice Manual, Chapter 9, Interlocutory Appeals. Since then, she has advised organizational and individual clients on a wide range of matters, including pre-litigation dispute counseling.
Kim approaches every case with empathy and an eye toward understanding client needs. Kim enjoys giving back to her community through various volunteer roles and has provided pro bono legal services to local non-profits. She lives north of Boston with her husband and two children.
